Starting A Blog From Scratch

I want to start Blogging, What do I do!!!!!!

 

You will learn in 5 steps how to go from nothing to Blogging in 30 Minutes. I prefer Blogger. Blogger is part of the Google System. It is very easy to use and being a part of Google it is very easy to access. These five steps start out with how to open a Google Account to Posting Your First Blog.

 Step 1: Goggle Account

The First thing you need to do is open a Google Account. Go to www.google.com and at the top right corner either sign in or create a new account. By creating a Google account you will not only create an email for yourself, but you will have access to the whole Google network. You're asking me, what does Google have to do with writing a blog?

Step 2: Opening the Blog site from Google

 

The second thing you have to do after creating an account or signing in is click the more button on the end of your Google page. After clicking the more button arrow down until you find blogger on the drop down menu. (Blogger is circled in red in the above picture)

Step 3: Starting Your Own Blog

 

 When you click on the Blogger Button, then you must click the "New Blog" button on the upper left of the page. After you click that button a page will pop up identical to the picture above. Start filling out the information. Create your Title, Address that links your blog to the Internet, and pick a template that matches your site. Then the Create Button will appear in bright orange for you to click. "Click It"

Step 4: Your First Post

 

 Once you click the Create Button then your blog will appear. Look under the newly created Blog called, "Class Blog." Underneath your new blog they give you an option to create your first post, so click on, "Start Posting."

Step 5: Writing Your First Post

 

OK, you're almost done. Good Job, Hang in there. This page above you get comfortable with, you'll see it every time you blog.  Next to your Blog Name, were it says Post Title, enter your Title for your blog on that day. Then In the box type your message that you want to tell your audience. If you want to Change the font size or add a picture they are all listed above. So just click on all the options your first time to see what they do. After you type your message Click the Publish button and then Check out your first Blog Post.

To Delete a Blog: Click on your blog > Settings > Other > Blog Tools > Delete Blog
